Open Mic: Poetry

This week my class has been writing poems for our poetry finals. Our teacher is really creative. She is always making ways to learn and have fun at the same time. Tomorrow some people our going to read their poems out loud (I am presenting 4 poems)here are my poems. There are 8 poems in all.
 Spring (Haiku)
Rejoice it's springtime
Colorful flowers blooming
Smile,be happy 

Summer (Haiku)
Have fun it's summer
Blazing hot sun beating down
Sit back and relax

Sour is mouth puckering
Sour is homemade lemonade you make on a hot summer day
Sour is tummy twisting excitement
Sour is the Sour Patch Kids you loved as a child

Sweet (Freestyle)
Sweet is the candy you eat every Halloween
Sweet is that flavor you get sick of once in a while
Sweet is the sugar being boiled to make caramel
Sweet is the mouth watering melting chocolate
